From thesaurus to FrameNet

The project is closed.

The goal of the project is the development of a publicly accessible, manually constructed and validated, Danish FrameNet.

In recent years FrameNet has proven to be very suitable for many types of language technology. This project will build on the 1700 important groups in the Danish Thesaurus which deal with actions and situations, and will assign one of the about 1000 frames in FrameNet to the words of these groups by looking at the semantic role inventory.

The project is funded by Carlsbergfondet, 2016-2017.
