CLARIN ERIC
CLARIN ERIC is a European research infrastructure, organised as an ERIC– European Research Infrastructure Consortium. Denmark is one of the 9 founding members of the infrastructure, which started February 2012. CLARIN keeps enrolling new members and by 2015 has 16 members and 1 observer.
CLARIN aims at providing easy and sustainable access for scholars in the humanities and social sciences to digital language data (in written, spoken, video or multimodal form) and advanced tools to discover, explore, exploit, annotate, analyse or combine them, independent of where they are located. Already now searches can be performed on the European website www.clarin.eu and on the Danish one, see below.
Denmark contributes to CLARIN with an annual fee and through DIGHUMLAB Theme 1: Language based materials and tools
