About The Centre for Language Technology
Our mission is to carry out and promote cutting edge research and development in the areas of Language technology (LT), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computational Cognitive Modeling. A particular focus of the Centre is to develop high-quality Danish Resources and Datasets in order to facilitate the development of technology that is well-customised to the Danish language and society.
In fulfilling this mission, the Centre plays an active role in language policy both nationally and internationally emphasising the importance of LT for lower-resourced languages. In addition, we host a digital infrastructure which enables researchers and others to deposit and process Danish language data and related resources.
The Centre is a section of the Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics (NorS) at University of Copenhagen.
